Lesson position, top-right07 / 12 in mono. The viewer's only answer to “where am I in this course” once the video is playing full screen.

03 STAGE

Screen, camera, slide or codeThe only zone that changes between scenes. Everything else stays on the same pixels for the whole lesson.

04 CAM

16:9, 17–22% width, one cornerPresent only when the stage is not the camera. Hard corners, never a circle.

06 MARK

Watermark, bottom-right, 55–65%A lesson gets clipped, embedded and re-uploaded. The mark is what still names the teacher when the title is gone.

What a recorded lesson does NOT have. These belong to a live broadcast and nothing else. On a lesson they are noise the viewer cannot dismiss, and they date the video the moment the stream ends:

No LIVE badge — there is nothing live about a file.
No ticker, no chat, no comment strip — a recorded frame has no second audience to acknowledge.
No countdown, no “starting soon” — the lesson starts when the viewer presses play.
No rotating handle bug — one CTA, once, on the end card.
